Last week (Purim) Cassie came home from her daycare at the Jewish Community Center and said, “Haman was not a nice guy because he wanted to kill the Jewish people.”
She repeated that exact phrase several times. Suspecting her comprehension, I said, “Cassie, who are the Jewish people?”
She was silent for a moment; then her face brightened. “They were in the parade!”
